CARIBBEAN CHRONICLES                OCTOBER,2007
	The October 13, 2007 meeting of the Northeast Ohio PHC came to order at 2:10PM at The Legends in Green, with Rich Tirpak president presiding.  Notes were read from the 9/8/07 meeting. Doug called right as we started to advise they were not going to be able to make it. Steve gave Bob Loescher’s treasurers report, as Bob and Debbie were still vacationing in Florida: Receipts:  Zero Payments  Save the Manatee $50 Yahoo (June –September) $36   Balance  $1488.46 Old business: -Thanks to Steve and Rachel for Cookout. -Rich noted the renewal of our donation to Save the Manatee, and advised that we would be passing on receiving a picture of an aging Manatee. -Fundraising:  Rich noted both club activities and sponsorship activities to raise money for charity and the club.  There is room for both.  Dues are stable year to year, and we carry a good bank balance from year to year.  No real input has been received from membership.  Children’s Hospital is a good new target for charitable donations.  Rich tabled the idea of doing Eat Free for a Week raffle again to raise funds.   Everyone thought this was a good idea, as this was one of our most successful fundraisers during Hurricane Katrina.
