CARIBBEAN  CHRONICLES                 JUNE 2007
	The June 9th meeting of the Northeast Ohio Parrot Head Club came to order at approximately 3:00pm at The Legend in Green.  Former President Doug presided. The notes from our  May meeting were read. Bob gave his Treasurer’s report:   As of  6/9/07   Receipts:    Cinco $476  $16 dues. Payments:   $84.55 Cinco prices   $124 Jim Pukas   Total in the bank $2150.30 up from last months $1866.85 Motion passed to donate $400 to Community Harvest from Cinco proceeds. Old business: Last months golf event, thank to Roxanne and Scott, was just a fantastic success.   Event Club champion:  Ed Waldo   Low adjustment:   Bob Loescher   Highest gross: Terry Batchik. Many upcoming events were reviewed: -Buffett concert June 23rd in Pittsburgh. Doug updated everyone on Buffett concert tickets Jamaica mistaka. Target noon to meet at hotel, and much discussion on the grill to be used $5-$8 per person for main grilled dish, everyone bring side dishes. -The weekend of July 21/July 22,  National Hamburger Festival in downtown Akron at Lock 3,   Two-day event (Sat and Sun).  Gypsies in the Palace will play July 21. -July 28th pig roast Entertainment to be the Panyards.  Much discussion on menu, tbd. -August 11th  2pm Highway cleanup, plus Pontoon boat event following cleanup at the Portage Lakes.  -Pukas campout???  Still tbd.  Possibly move up to September in hopes for better weather.
